This is an eletronic book. I have never played with one before so I can only write my impression, no comparison can be done. It's surprising to me that digital display can show things like a real book.... I can't really see the pixels involved. Response is good. I think because there is no backlit, the battery should last quite some time. The 2gb SD card included should have enough space for a whole library. The buttons with numbers on the left side make navigation a snap. Book is nice to read, with zoom button conveniently located so reading without reading glasses is possible for those who always forget where they put their glasses. There are some Chinese and English books already inside the SD card.

I think it will be a great replacement of a physical bible, which can be quite heavy, especially for the elderly, who always need larger fonts.

By the way, yes, I do have the customer's permission, in fact, instruction to open the package and test the item first. I wouldn't do that unless I'm told to, right? Wink I purposely took a picture of the seal to show the customer that it came brand new and sealed.

Edit: A concerned customer asked me whether I have permission to use stuff that my customers purchased. Of course I don't do that unless I'm given explicit instruction to do so. Here is a quote from his email:

From TaobaoNow:

"I will do the testing of the reader, if you want me to do so. As for the video card, my PC isn't new enough to have PCI-e slot... so can't really test it. But I can check for visible damage on the item itself. If I have your permission, I will open all the packages of the items, and take detailed photographs of the items, then send them to you before I repackage it and deliver"

From customer:

"...thanks for offering to test my reader, I'd be thankful if you did so (you can even personally confirm that it has no touch screen :D). No, it's absolutely no problem that you open the packages of the new products for checking for any damage. I appreciate your attention and concern. You can send me the photos if it's not gonna be a hindrance to you..."

I hope this will clear things up. You can rest assured that I give my utmost respect to all my customers, as well as their belongings.
